For the first time, this crossover was demonstrated to a wide audience in September 2013 - at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt am Main, and in August 2014 its Russian premiere took place - at the stands of the Moscow Motor Show.

In April 2018, a restyled SUV debuted at the stands of the Beijing Motor Show, and it was really "shaken up" thoroughly - the five-door was "refreshed" the exterior, completely "redrawing" the front and finalizing the rear, radically redesigned the interior, leaving only a few details from the predecessor, separated new modern options and added the FL index to the name.
Chinese manufacturers are often scolded for outright plagiarism, so Changan CS75FL looks a little like Range Rover Evoque or Land Rover Freelander 2, but still it is hardly possible to see it as a full-fledged copy.
In general, this five-door looks nice, balanced and dynamic. Most interesting is the off-road vehicle at the front - the stern gaze of LED headlights, a radiator grille with the brand's emblem in the center and a raised bumper with integrated fog lights.
In profile, the car has a very solid look with "muscular" wheel arches and expressive sidewalls, a bit of lightness which is added by the sloping roof and the "splash" of the window sill line closer to the rear, and at the back it demonstrates a tightly knocked out shape with stylish lamps and a neat bumper.

In terms of dimensions, the CS75 is a typical mid-size crossover: its body length is 4640 mm, the wheelbase is 2700 mm, the width does not exceed 1850 mm, and the height rests on the 1695 mm mark (1705 mm with roof rails). The ground clearance (clearance) of the car has a fairly decent 200 mm.

In the Russian market, the Changan CS75FL is "armed" with one single gasoline engine - an in-line four-cylinder unit with a working volume of 1.8 liters with a turbocharger, distributed fuel injection, a 16-valve DOHC timing belt and variable valve timing, which generates 150 horsepower at 5500 rpm ... As for the torque, its reserve depends on the version - 220 Nm at 2000-4500 rpm for front-wheel drive and 245 Nm at the same speed for all-wheel drive versions.
By default, the engine is combined with a 6-band hydromechanical "automatic" Aisin and drive wheels of the front axle, but as an option it can be docked with an all-wheel drive transmission equipped with a multi-plate BorgWarner clutch, which is responsible for connecting the rear wheels.

The Changan CS75 crossover is based on a front-wheel drive platform with a monocoque body, a transversely located motor and independent suspensions "in a circle": in the front - MacPherson type, in the rear - a multi-link design (in both cases - with hydraulic shock absorbers, steel springs and transverse stabilizers).
